Cathy Rose from Nature's Nest Farm will be leading a class in our garden on how to pick and use the right garden tool. Light refreshments will be provided. We'll be celebrating the summer growing season and two years in business with our Food and Farm Days. Join us in July for a visit with our featured farmer, Greg Reynolds from Riverbend Farm, an open house in our garden, food sampling, music in the garden, and activities for kids!
Saturday, July 25th
9:30a-4:30p, Onion Weeding, Riverbend Farm
We'll be heading back to Riverbend Farm in Delano, our featured farm for July, to weed the onion beds we planted in May. Lunch and a farm tour will be provided. Carpools will leave from the cafe. RSVP to info@commonrootscafe.com .

We'll be out at the fairgrounds in Hutchinson celebrating garlic. Sponsored the Sustainable Farming Association, the Garlic Festival is a great way to support sustainable local farmers, get out of the Cities, and sample some garlic. Find us in the Great 'Scape Cafe and on the demonstration stage.
